DKS Series Anti-scaling Agent for Reverse Osmosis
Performance and Application
The DKS series reverse osmosis scale inhibitor is an efficient scale inhibitor. It is suitable for reverse osmosis (RO) systems, nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems. It can prevent scaling on the membrane surface, improve water production volume and water quality, and reduce operating costs. Product features
(1) It can effectively control inorganic scaling within a wide concentration range. The maximum allowable value of LSI without adding acid is 2.8. (2) It does not form insoluble substances with iron-aluminum oxides and silicon compounds.
(3) It is particularly effective in controlling iron, aluminum and heavy metal pollutants. The concentration of iron in the feed water is allowed to reach 8.0 mg/L.
(4) It can effectively inhibit the polymerization and deposition of silicon. The concentration of SiO2 in the concentrated water can reach 290 mg/L.
(5) It can be used for reverse osmosis CA and TFC membranes, nanofiltration membranes and ultrafiltration membranes.
(6) It has excellent solubility and stability.
(7) It is effective within the pH range of 5-10.
Usage instructions
(1) To achieve the best scale inhibition performance, it is recommended to add the reagent before the static mixing or cylindrical filter. (2) The scale inhibitor is recommended to be added continuously to maintain the dosage at a normal level.
(3) For drinking water, the maximum dosage is 10mg/L. The maximum dilution concentration is 10%, and it can be diluted with RO membrane permeate or deionized water. (4) Dosage: The typical dosage is 2-6mg/L. The specific dosage should be determined based on the quality of the supplementary water and by using the dosage software or consulting a professional engineer.
(5) The material of the dosing equipment is recommended to be stainless steel, polyethylene, or PVC. Note: Excessive or insufficient dosage will cause membrane contamination.
Packaging and Storage
The DKS series reverse osmosis scale inhibitor is packaged at the factory. Each barrel contains 25KG (blue barrel) or 20KG (white barrel). Storage location should be kept ventilated and dry. The storage period at room temperature is 2 years.
Safety and Protection
The DKS series reverse osmosis scale inhibitor is a chemical product and has a weak acidity. Pay attention to labor protection when operating. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. Rinse with plenty of water after contact.
